How JRP Virtual Works
A Real Pathway Into the Entertainment Industry
While auditions are open to the public, participation in JRP Virtual is by selection only.
We work with talent who demonstrate the potential, commitment, and marketability to move toward booking professional work.
1. Apply & Register for an Audition
Every journey begins with an application. Once submitted, you’ll register for a live virtual audition, your first step into the JRP Virtual process.
After registering, you’ll receive:
- A confirmation email
- A commercial-style script to prepare
- Clear instructions on what to expect
This ensures every audition is fair, focused, and professional.
2. Attend the live Zoom audition
During the live session, our team walks families through:
- What we look for in talent
- How auditions really work
- Expectations on both sides
We believe transparency matters.
Talent is placed into small-group breakout rooms led by a Talent Director. Talent performs their prepared script. Directors evaluate professionalism, readiness, and overall fit.
Select talent who make the Call Back list are invited back for one-on-one final audition with a Talent Director. This is where final decisions are made. Accepted families review expectations, goals, and next steps before moving forward.
3. Train With Celebrity Coaches
Accepted talent trains with working industry professionals to understand:
- How auditions actually function
- What casting directors expect
- How to perform with confidence and consistency
Talent is guided through the essentials: resumes & headshots, commercials & monologues, the casting process, industry etiquette and expectations.
4. Present Yourself to Hollywood Agents
Talent performs and interviews in a live Zoom showcase in front of: Hollywood agents and talent managers.
If representation is secured, talent begins:

Yes! More than most people realize. The industry moves quickly, and casting teams and agents don’t have time to "wait for potential" to turn into readiness. When a performer is polished, trained, and comfortable taking direction, it shows immediately.
No. Fashion modeling has strict height requirements (generally 5’8”+ for women and 5’11”+ for men), which rules out many talented people. Most of the performers we work with are actors, but we also train commercial models and singers - anyone preparing to work in entertainment.
It shouldn’t. We put academics first for students, and we only work with people who take school seriously. The schedule is built to fit real life: rehearsals and auditions are typically in the evenings and on weekends, so you can keep up with classes (or a day job) while still training consistently.
No. Everything is remote. Zoom is now standard for auditions, agent meetings, and even sessions with well-known coaches. In the past, you often had to fly to Los Angeles to get in the room, which was expensive and time-consuming. Now you can access the same types of opportunities from anywhere, whether you’re in the US, Canada, or abroad.

We want you to attend consistently, but we understand conflicts happen. Because the program continues week to week, you can rejoin and continue with the next session. The key is to come back, stay steady, and keep building.
You’ll commit to a set amount of rehearsal time on weekends so you can develop your skills and learn your material. Auditions and showcases with agents, casting directors, and other professionals are also typically scheduled on a weekend after the rehearsal period.
Extra rehearsal outside of that schedule isn’t required, but if you want to put in more time on your own, we encourage it.

We’ve built strong relationships with agencies and casting offices because we’re known for bringing in candidates who are talented, motivated, and professional.
We’re not an agency. Like any career path, training and marketing usually require an upfront investment of time and money. Successful actors and models will tell you the same thing: the learning never really stops. These days, very few agencies cover startup costs for new talent. Yes, there are occasional "discoveries", but they’re rare. Most working professionals earn their progress through training, experience, and ongoing development.
