More About Adam Irigoyen
Adam Irigoyen got his start in the acting world at just 11 years old. Following a string of print ads and television commercials, he landed a guest spot on the popular Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place. That appearance helped open the door for his audition for "Deuce Martinez" on Shake It Up. Beyond his TV work, he has taken on roles in independent films such as Flight, Nickel or Dime and Electric Natural Safe.
Adam has built up a long list of television credits over the years, appearing in shows like Good Luck Charlie, 2 Broke Girls,Fresh Off the Boat, Major Crimes, K.C. Undercover, The Fosters, The Last Ship, The Resident, and Henry Danger. He also starred in the Netflix drama Away, working alongside Oscar winner Hilary Swank.
Spanish was actually the first language Adam learned to speak. While studying at John Robert Powers, his potential was quickly spotted by instructors. After being invited to perform in a talent showcase, he made the move to Los Angeles to take his career to the next level.
Coming from a long line of educators, Adam’s parents and grandmother are all teachers. When he isn't on set, he values downtime with his family, including his two brothers and sister. In school, his interests usually lean toward
Math and History. He is also a creative at heart—he spends much of his time writing music, singing, dancing, and teaching himself how to play different instruments. He often looks to a specific Michael Jordan quote to stay motivated: "Some people want it to happen, some people wish it to happen, others tear down the wall of resistance and make it happen."
