Liv Hutchings

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Olivia Claire Hutchings, known to most as Liv, was born in March 1997. Her upbringing was a bit of a whirlwind, taking her through San Francisco, Chicago, and Indianapolis before she finally landed in Los Angeles in 2005. The move to California was a deliberate step toward making her professional acting and dancing goals a reality.

Her path was set back in Indianapolis after a chance encounter with a radio ad. The spot mentioned auditions for Sesame Street, and in that moment, Liv knew exactly what she wanted to do. She immediately enrolled in acting workshops and discovered a natural affinity for the stage. By the summer of 2005, she traveled to New York City for the very first iPOP event, where she made a massive impression—walking away with the Young Dancer of the Year title and more than 20 callbacks.

Dance remains a core part of her identity. Over the years, she has collected top-tier awards at competitions across the country. One of her proudest milestones was competing in the highly selective Youth America Grand Prix, where her ballet performance earned her a spot in the International Finals in New York.

That experience on the New York stage proved to be a turning point for her confidence and technique. It solidified her reputation in the dance world, showing that she could hold her own against some of the most talented young performers globally.

Currently, Liv is settled into her new home in Burbank. She shares the space with her parents and her younger brother, Spencer, and is focused on enjoying this busy, exciting chapter of her career.
