Katie Leclerc first appeared on screen in 2005 during a guest spot onVeronica Mars. That early role led to a string of smaller parts in both film and television before she landed her signature role. She is best known for playing Daphne Vasquez on ABC Family’s Switched at Birth, portraying a deaf teenager who discovers a life-changing secret about her infancy and biological family.

Following the success of the series, Katie stayed busy with recurring and guest roles in hits like The Big Bang Theory, NCIS,Community, and CSI: Crime Investigation. Her work spans various genres, from thrillers like A Bride’s Revenge andPsycho in Law to digital series like Confess. On the film side, she has headlined several features, including Holiday Breakup,The Ones, and Christmas a la Mode.
